Digital Pursuit were in attendance at Doggetts Coat and Badge for The UK Symfony meetup held on Wednesday 19th February 2014.
The "Optimising Your Front End Workflow" talk was by Symfony2 developer Matthew Davis, and he spoke about tools to help take the front end workflow to the next level, and hopefully optimise load times in the process!
He spoke about using Twig templates and optimising them for the different areas of applications, integrating Bower and Gulp for managing assets and processing front-end code to avoid repetitive tasks - looking at how that impacts the typical Symfony workflow.
Matthew is a Symfony2 developer from Stoke-on-Trent, who has been working with PHP since 2004.
