There is an old saying: "there are as many PHP frameworks as PHP developers in the world, or even more".
In 2009 a group of representatives from different major frameworks started the Framework Interoperability Group (FIG) aiming to create a common framework to share code and standards across different libraries. Throughout his talk he explained what the FIG is and what is the outcome of this movement, the well-known PSRs.
